MORTAR AND PESTLE.
The Mortar and Pestle is a device that can be dated back to 35000 B.C. It has been commonly made from hardwood, ceramic, or stone and is utilized as a method for preparing ingredients by crushing and grinding them into a fine paste or powder.
This project explores the ways in which the structural packaging of a Mortar and Pestle can be enhanced such that it provides more protection during point of sale, while also enabling the consumer to participate in a more interactive unboxing experience.
“There is no such thing as a boring project. There are only boring executions.”
